So being an otaku as I am, I figured probably I should learn some Japanese. So I enrolled myself into beginner Japanese at centre of continual education at university of Sydney.
Today was the first lecture. I was so nervous last night, and woke up extra early today, despite sleeping late, got there an hour early, had 2 coffees on the way. It wasn't bad at all. We learned how to greet/introduce/interview another person. Not that anything new, but it was still rather refreshing.
We were introduced to the hiragana and katakana. Looks like there are quite a few things to learn. 50 or so syllabi, long way to go! oO
